Excellent opportunity to join an experienced engineering department, who specialise in the injection and cast moulding of engineering plastics. We are looking for a toolmaker who can interpret engineering drawings and has experience in a mechanical workshop.

In this role, you will be reporting to the workshop manager to manufacture and maintain a range of specialist cast and injection moulds using all aspects of the machine tool workshop.

We provide a modern facility manufacturing environment with long-term growth strategies and potential for individual training and development. We have a diverse customer base that includes companies from the Offshore, Automotive, Agriculture and Construction sectors.

The Role

  • Toolmaking-Producing, manufacturing and repairing a wide range of specialist equipment.
  • Using lathes, mills (manual/cnc) grinders etc.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Progress to produce engineering drawings and utilise EdgeCam and AutoCAD software

  • Toolmaker
  • Skilled machinist- lathes, mills, grinders etc.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Hardworking, good problem solver and the ability to work to accuracy and detail.
