As things begin to change more significantly in the UK, we wanted to update you on our current operating position.
At the moment, for all our customers, it is ‘business as usual’. Behind the scenes we have put a number of steps in place to help minimise the impact on our employees firstly, and secondly, our ability to maintain production and supply.
Where possible, office based employees are being encouraged to work remotely and we are fully setup to support this with no change to how you would be served. Our telephone numbers remain the same, and group or personal extensions will also function as usual. Equally, all orders are being processed in the same way. Therefore we will be able to keep you updated no matter what changes occur in the future.
We are in constant contact with our suppliers to ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum and our UK stock holding of raw material has already increased significantly. We are no longer accepting visitors to our manufacturing site and have put in place a strict no-contact policy with delivery/collection drivers. Further, we are working with our employees to ensure all elements of our heightened health & safety and hygiene/cleaning processes are being adhered to.
Whilst our raw materials are predominantly sourced from Germany and Italy, all manufacturing is completed in the UK and so our increased stockholding should prevent any short or medium term impacts. However, we are encouraging our customers to be as proactive as possible in placing new orders with us to ensure we can do everything possible to maintain supply, especially in the event of any impact on our production employees.
