PolyGlobal, who specialise in the injection and cast moulding of engineering plastics, was founded in 1985 under the name of Polyurethane Progress Ltd by Jordan’s Grandma and Father. Jordan grew up in the walls of the company learning the ropes and considers the business to be in his blood. Fast forward a few years and in 2011 he took over as Managing Director. In 2015 his ambitious plans for the company led to a full rebrand and a change of trading name. PolyGlobal was born.

The company was born and bred in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and still occupies the same original premises today although with some expansion into neighbouring units over the years. Many of their long standing workforce come from the surrounding area and PolyGlobal remain loyal to their local community. For the last year, Wakefield Hospice have been their charity partner, and they are active members of the steering committee for the Wakefield Manufacturing Forum, encouraging improvement and growth within their sector.

I am passionate about manufacturing and am determined to continue to lead PolyGlobal to business success, building on what we’ve achieved to date, breaching new horizons and flying the flag for manufacturing in Yorkshire”.
