This week PolyGlobal is to welcome work experience students into the company for the first time in the companies thirty year history. Matthew and Daniel, both sixth form students at Outwood Grange Academy, will be working closely with the PolyGlobal team, developing their personal abilities that will serve them well in the future.
Matthew will be working closely with the our Marketing Manager, Andy Young, looking closely at the various ways of grasping a larger audience on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Matthew will be looking at ways of improving our current social media sites and marketing techniques, whilst also running a daily blog on his experiences, which can be followed on all of our different e-media sites.
As for Daniel, he will be in close partnership with our Sales Coordinator, Tom Brumwell, looking specifically at material product design. Daniel will develop an understanding of the different types of products and how they are created and developed by the PolyGlobal team, whilst also learning of advantages of the materials used and how they can be marketed to companies interested in our products.
PolyGlobal believes strongly in giving back to the community in Wakefield, whether it be by sponsoring local rugby teams or helping develop the skill set of aspiring new students. We are sure Matthew and Daniel will do a great job in their week with the team and will hopefully be the first of many successful work experience students for years to come.
